About Kristan Leatherman,M.S.
Kristan Leatherman has pursued a variety of exciting careers, from politics to nonprofit, from broadcasting to small business. Yet it wasn't until she became a teacher that she discovered her truest calling - helping parents with the challenge of raising respectful, responsible, capable kids.
Since that time, Kristan has gone beyond the classroom to make a bigger impact in the lives of more children by working with the adults who are raising them. As her passion evolved, Kristan developed her own educational consulting practice as a workshop facilitator, speaker, family life consultant ... and now founder of the Raising Millionaire Babies Project and coauthor of her first book, Millionaire Babies or Bankrupt Brats?.
The Raising Millionaire Babies Project grew from Kristan's presentations to hundreds of parents and teachers, whose questions invariably lead to lively discussions about how to handle the enduring challenges of raising financially capable and responsible kids. While this may seem a daunting task in today's complex world, Kristan is dedicated to providing simple tools and effective solutions that adults need to raise happy, self-supporting kids.
With a master's degree in counseling and twenty years of experience, Kristan has provided individual consultations and presented seminars about life skills to a variety of schools, colleges, community service organizations, and businesses at local, regional, and national conferences and venues from coast to coast.
Kristan will customize the principles and concepts introduced in Millionaire Babies or Bankrupt Brats? for both personal and professional purposes. Services include private consultations for parents, grandparents, and families, and educational seminars for businesses, community service organizations, and schools.
